GST Exemption
Because Canada Revenue Agency recognizes Social Work as a health profession, the clinical counselling services of Registered Social Workers are GST EXEMPT. David is a Registered Social Worker in private practice who provides clinical social work services which are exempt from charging GST.

Extended Health Benefit
You may be eligible to have part or all costs of your counselling sessions covered through your extended health plan. All plans will have different eligibility requirements and you should ensure that your plan covers counselling services provided by a Registered Clinical Counsellor or Registered Social Worker. Please contact your plan administrator for more information.
